SEACA is just one of the proactive Community Organisations that are collaborating and will be using this event, to encourage the challenging conversations. We want to bring about a fresh thinking, to create better outcomes for our next generation.

On Thursday 17th February our Key note speaker for the evening will be Professor Gus John – Political Activist, Social ommentator, Author and Academic Writer and he will be exploring themes of racial harmony and community cohesion.  The night will be complemented with a variety of performances from the local community.  During the evening on stage there will be an interactive invited panel discussion around Equality Diversity and Inclusion, culminating in the South African Choir performing at end the night.

It is now even more important, to show Southend and the wider community of Essex, that we stand united and connected as a community and to raise the roof on the positive events and good work we are doing in Essex.

This event is free and open to the public to attend and take part and we welcome organisations open to and willing to be a part of the positive change in Southend.

Please book early as there are only a limited number of tickets.

Tickets are available on Eventbrite, so please join us….  and save the date!
