An event to help our community come together after the terrible events and impact of the COVID19 pandemic.
Sunday 19th September 2021, from 11am to 3pm
Hamlet Court Road will be transformed with stalls offering arts, crafts and food. There will be a showcase of local talent, artists, musicians and performers, creating an inclusive space for everyone to come together and enjoy each other’s company. There are so many different communities and groups in Milton Ward, we’re one of the most diverse in Southend; we want to celebrate all the things we have in common: food, music, dance, spoken word, making and creating.
We hope that as well as being a great event, it will help businesses along Hamlet Court Road, by reminding visitors that it’s a great shopping destination in its own right. We’d like to run it as an annual Southend on Sea event.
Call-out for talent, makers, groups and stall-holders
If you would be interested in having a stall or know someone who would; if you know local talent needing a showcase; if you can offer any support or suggestions – please get in touch! We want Hamlet Court Road in Harmony to reflect our communities and this can only happen if we work together.
We look forward to enjoying a time when we can celebrate all that is beautiful and vibrant about Westcliff and the amazing talent in Essex.
Hope you will join us and put the date in your diary now, for Sunday, 19th September 2021.
